I began my dance training at the age of 5 at Kerry Ledger school of Dance taking examinations in ballet, tap, modern whilst also doing jazz, lyrical, contemporary and street. I competed in ballet and tap scholarships, English youth ballet, Nottingham playhouse pantomime, competitions and performances at Blackpool Winter Gardens alongside dance festivals, workshops and performance across the country. 
I studied 5 A levels including dance and drama and from here decided to further my studies at University of Leeds in 2010. Whilst doing my degree, I decided to do a placement year at Dèda in Derby as a dance artist and teaching GCSE and A level dance and performing arts at Saint Benedict Catholic School. Once graduating, I decided to further my passion for teaching dance and yoga in nurseries, primary and secondary schools across Derby and Derbyshire. I have continued to teach at Dèda doing classes and summer activity programmes. I began teaching at Vision in 2016 and have loved every moment since, I love to teach lyrical, contemporary, commercial and dance fitness with these being styles I’ve always enjoyed myself and being able to push students to build their technique, performance and own choreography is what I love to do.
